Now That’s More Like It!

9 Mar

I had tried to make a rocket ship for Big A and Little last weekend using cardboard boxes. (see “This Does Not Reflect My Best Work)  It looked more like a church or an old school house to me than a rocket, but the boys liked it anyway.  The main issue was that it was so darn big there was no way to get it out of the playroom, and it took up too much space in the play room.

I took an exacto knife to the pounds and pounds of duct tape, actually DREW a plan (imagine that!) and used a little tin foil to down size the monstrous school house rocket into a more manageable, yet slightly silo-like rocket.  While still large enough for both kids and the dog to sit in, it’s not nearly as tall and may even fit through a door now!
